Our story

Twenty-three years, four ramps, one arch.

One Way Motors opened in 2003, founded by two brothers after a decade between them at a Ford dealership in Brent Cross. They wanted to run the kind of garage they’d send their own mum to — one where the bill matched the quote, the advisories were real, and you didn’t need a dictionary to read the invoice.

Twenty-three years later, half our customers were here on day one. We’ve seen out three Ford Fiestas for the family at number 14, MOT’d the same Volvo 240 every year since 2007, and now service the EV that replaced it. Cars change. The job doesn’t.

In 2018 we became a DVSA-approved test station. In 2022 our senior tech — who started with us as an apprentice in 2014 — passed her IMI Level 3 EV qualification, so we can now service Teslas, Polestars and the rest without sending you to Park Royal. That’s the only thing that’s really changed.

Co-owner & MOT tester

DVSA-approved tester. Runs the front desk. The reason your invoice arrives the same day.

Senior EV / hybrid tech

IMI Level 3 high-voltage. Started with us as an apprentice in 2014. Knows VAG cars better than VW does.

Tyres & alignment tech

Runs the Hunter rig. The fastest tyre fitter in N3 — we’ve timed it.
